# Less theorizing. More building.

I’m building [Lazyweb](https://lazyweb.com/) with my cofounder, Francesco Polizzi. We’re backed by a16z Speedrun. First 1000 is my live account of trying to turn this company into something that matters.

Lazyweb brings real screens, flows, experiments, and product research into the conversations where people design and build, including conversations with AI agents.

## The current chapter

The first Mac app didn’t work, and the web app didn’t work either. Putting Lazyweb inside the tools people already used opened a different door.

In my August 2026 update, I shared that close to 50,000 people had signed up and we had crossed 15,000 active users. Those are milestones from that update, not a live counter. The company is still early.

In August, Lazyweb joined **a16z Speedrun SR007**, the next chapter in taking this from a research obsession to a company.

I’m focused on learning where the product is useful, making it easier to use, and solving the difficult problems with the most upside.

## What I’m trying to get better at

- Finding the biggest unknown before building the next feature.
- Changing my mind quickly when the evidence changes.
- Remembering that energy needs looking after, too.

Outside the company: cooking, walking, journaling, and finding time for people who understand the strange emotional range of building something from zero.
